Tap an airport dot on the globe to fill it in.
A real plane is in the air right now. We tell you where it is, which way it's heading, how long ago it took off and how long until it lands. You guess where it took off and where it's landing.
Every guess draws your route on the globe. We tell you how far your route misses the plane, and how far off its flight time is.
From your second miss on, every miss gets you a clue: the aircraft, then the airline, then the country it took off from. You get six guesses.
Daily is one plane a day, the same for everyone. Spin turns the globe until you press Stop, then gives you the live plane nearest to where it stopped. Spin as many times as you like.
Every plane flies between two of the world's 250 busiest airports. We work out the times from where the plane is and the airline's scheduled flight time, so they can be a few minutes out. Live positions come from volunteers' receivers on the ground (adsb.lol and adsb.fi) and routes from adsb.im, so you'll mostly get planes over land and near the coast.
